Kevin is one of the most caring faculty members I met in college. I earned an A in second semester general chemistry and organic chemistry because of him. He helps simplify difficult concepts and wants you to succeed. He will always make time to help you out even if you ever have questions or need extra help. Kevin goes above and beyond for his students.

Kevin is one of the reasons I was able to excel in organic chemistry. His explanations go above and beyond and he really simplifies things in a way that a lot of professors aren’t able to. I had the pleasure of being a student of his for two semesters and in both semesters I received an A. Beyond that, he really cares that you are learning - for example, in addition to having him as a TA he was also a mentor of mine on an organic chemistry research project; he sacrificed his own research time to ensure that I honed the laboratory and research review skills I needed to become a good scientist myself.

Kevin was my general chemistry TA. I was a repeat student and afraid of failing the class again. Kevin is patient, understanding, and gives clear instructions for solving problems. With his help, I went from failing a semester before to getting an A+. He also reached out to me at the end of the semester to give me advice on organic chemistry later on.

Kevin was one of the most helpful TAs I've had in undergrad, even with the material in lecture. Labs and grading criteria were organized and he's very patient explaining confusing concepts to students.

Before I would dread going to class because of its difficulty, but Kevin's calm attitude and humility made the labs extremely enjoyable and I learned a lot more as a result. He turned complex and seemingly impossible topics into comprehensible simple ones, without Kevin there is no doubt I would have not succeeded in class.
